We won Regional Semi Finals!!

Advacning on to the Regional Finals!

Its currently the day after the game and im not going to lie I was a bit nervous leading up to the game since I got pretty sick right after the regional quarter final match and had to miss 2 days of school to recover. Thank god I felt much better the day of the game and im not going to lie this game wasn't very hard and I feel like our regional quarter final game was much harder. We dominated the entire game versus Coral Gables and my team played very well as we scored an early goal and just kept the ball the entire game. We won 1-0 but unlike Monarch who was pressuring us and running after us a lot, Coral Gables would just sit back and launch the ball up praying for an unlucky bounce for their attack to counter us on. This game was a huge win as we are now going to the Regional Finals and if we win then we make it to States which will be a massive part in this documentary. I can either make this documentary about winning states, losing states, or like the last year of playing high school soccer and seeing where everyone else on the team will end up when it doesn't come to soccer. Hopefully it will be about winning states though that would be fire.

We will now be versing Doral Academy but we will be traveling to Doral to play this game instead of our home field Cypress Bay. This game is going to be very intense as there will be a lot of away fans watching and will cheer for the other team. Before I joined the Cypress Team midway through the season, the boys already played them and lost 3-4 in the last minute of the game so we know that this is going to be a crazy game and hopefully we can get the better of them this time as we have 3 new players including myself who quit the mls academy team with Weston FC to play high school soccer in hopes of winning the State Championship. After the Game on Wednesday I will start to research Genre conventions, op-documentary format, and research other sport documentaries to see how experts in the field execute a production that is similar with what im planning on creating.
